Established in the year 1997, Kendriya Vidyalaya Bijapur is situated in the historical city of Bijapur. The Vidyalaya is a CIVIL SECTOR School sponsored by the Government of Karnataka. The Vidyalaya has classes from I to Class XI for the academic year 2010-11.

The Vidyalaya has a pupils strength of 778 and staff strength of 21. The Vidyalaya has a spacious campus with a permanent building and all the infrastructural facilities.
